For this level of advertising you would be one of two highly visible ads on our home page, where you can include your business logo or suitable image, several lines of text plus a direct website or email link.

 

Banner Advertising

 

Banner Ads - We run 170 x760 banners on every page of the site .

 

Banner ads can be booked to run across the whole of the site, or targeted to one section (eg Specific courses, preschoolers, Homepage etc).

 

The homepage is the focal point of the site so viewing figures are guaranteed to be high. On the home page the ads are positioned in the centre at top with our ‘banner ads’ and also at the bottom page.

 

With over 10,000 hits each month we are sure your advert will be seen by our customers.

 

Cost:  £45 + VAT a month per Advert.

 

Cost:  £75 + VAT a month per Banner.

 

I want to book online but how do I upload an image for my ad?

 

Images should be in PNG, JPEG or GIF format. Unfortunately some images won't work on our site the most common we can't accept are BMP and TIF.

 

Images should be no more than 118 pixels wide and 110 pixels high.

 

Image resizing can be done using any photo editing software and also the basic paint programme found in most PCs accessories folder.

 

Alternatively if you search the term 'online picture resizing' in your preferred search engine you will find websites that offer this service free of charge.

 

The image needs to be stored on your PC and uploaded via email to our site from that location.

I don't have a logo for my business so what happens?

 

If you don't have an image you can find free images online OR we can add some text to the image box instead for you.

 

Please book & pay for your ad (without uploading an image). Then email advertising@sports-4-fun.co.uk quoting the ad you have booked and let the advertising team know the text, colour preference and type font you would like to use and they will do their best to accommodate you. Please note the shorter the text - the larger it can be in the image box.

 

What is the maximum character limit on a local home page advert?

 

The adverts consist of a title and up to 3 lines of description plus a line for your link.

Each line has a maximum of 28 characters.

 

Don't worry if your website address is longer than 28 characters as you can instead use text such as "Click here to visit website" and it will still link to your site.

 

How do I pay for an advert?

 

Our online booking process is linked to paypal for your convenience.  However you do not need a paypal account to pay, you can use a debit or credit card to pay via paypal.

How to book your Advert

 

The online order form is easy to use and will show you each ad spots availability.

 

• Simply look at what advertisement space is currently available from our chart.

 

• Choose your desired advertisement space in our online Ad booking service.

 

• Then Click Buy Now.

 

• Follow the instructions issued by Paypal.

 

NB Ad space is allocated on a first come first served basis. All advertisements are subject to SPORTS 4 FUN’s discretion & we reserve the right to refuse any advertisements we determine unsuitable for SPORTS 4 FUN. All advertisements booked shall be online on the 1st of every month and shall continue until the end of that month.
